About us page of 1sc.org
Welcome to 1sc.org! This website is run by a private individual, on a non-professional basis.
1sc.org was created in 2015 and is an information website about scams on the internet. It covers a wide range of scams that can be seen on the internet.
It has been created to inform people about scams in order to prevent people to fall into these traps.
Scammers keep changing their methods, so feedback from visitors matters a lot here. Many pages have comments in which people describe the messages, profiles or photos they came across. If you have been targeted by a scam, you are welcome to share your experience in the comment section of the relevant page.
1sc.org is purely informative
It does not replace governments websites dedicated to internet scams. It does not provide service to help find scammers. In addition, it does not provide service to help recover money given to scammers. We are sorry about that but, as mentioned earlier, this site is only about information.
1sc.org is a translation of French website arnaqueinternet.com. This being said, no content has been copied from another website (except being a translation of another website as mentioned earlier).
The first article on the blog, Fight scams on the internet with 1sc.org, presented the site in 2015.
